Installerific allows you to automatically upload your portable application and the auto update file after it is built. Both the *.paf.zip and the *AutoUpdate.txt are automatically created as part of the build process. When your application is launched it will automatically check to see if there is a new version by downloading the AutoUpdate.txt file and comparing it with the installed version.
- FTP Host - This is your FTP Server Host Name
- FTP User Name - The user name when logging into your FTP Site
- FTP Password - The password when logging into your FTP Site
- Enable SSL - If checked, SSL will be used when connecting
- SSL Protocol - When Enable SSL is checked, choose the applicable SSL protocol to connect to your FTP Site
- FTP Path - The path to upload your zipped portable installer
- FTP Auto Update Path - The path to upload your Auto Update file
- Download URL - The path where people will download your zipped portable installer. It must correspond to the FTP Path
- Auto Update URL - The path that will be used to check for updates. It must correspond to the Auto Update Path
- Verify - Clicking this button after the build will verify that everything has been uploaded can be downloaded.
